PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel tank for a vehicle which realizes the consistent fuel suction by a fuel pump even when the remaining amount of the fuel in the tank is small, and has the excellent productivity. SOLUTION: In the fuel tank for vehicle with a suction port of the fuel pump and a fuel return valve disposed in the fuel tank has a pair of side surface parts 22 and 23 extending substantially along the longitudinal direction of a vehicle body and a back surface part 24, a sub chamber 20 with an opening part 26 formed forward of the vehicle body is disposed in a chamber 10 arranged on a bottom part 2 in the fuel tank 1, and a suction filter 32 provided in the fuel suction port of the fuel pump 30 is located in this sub chamber 20.
