PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform reliable and speedy casing. SOLUTION: The casing apparatus arranges a predetermined number of bagged articles 1 in a line, holds the arranged articles 1 between holding plates 9, pushes the articles 1 held between the plates 9 into an inlet of a funnel-formed guide 90, and cases them in an outer packaging box 2 placed at an outlet of the guide 90. The guide 90 includes guide members 111 and 112 (110 to 113) stretching from a predetermined position along its outlet opening rim to the inside of an upper rim corner 2b of an insertion port for the articles 1 of the outer packaging box 2 placed at the outlet of the guide 90.
