PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a ring-shaped paper body excellent in formation. SOLUTION: This papermaking apparatus 1 is composed of a stirring tank 2 and a papermaking stand 3. The stirring tank 2 is constituted of a middle cylinder 11 having an approximately conical part 22 at the bottom end, an outer cylinder 23 coaxial with the middle cylinder, a raw material feed opening 24, plural air nozzles 25 being a stirring mechanism and a water spray nozzle 28 for jetting washing water supported on a top plate 26. The papermaking part 3 is constituted of a papermaking stand 32, a papermaking net 31 attached to the top of the papermaking stand, an outside cover 34, etc. A sealing 27 is fixed to the bottom end of the stirring tank 2. In the figure, a water hole 38 for supplying water, a water suction hole 33, an outlet opening 35, a central body 45 and an opening 46 are shown. In carrying out papermaking, a fixed amount of water is supplied from the water hole 38 through the opening 46 into the inside of the paper machine stand 32 and a space between the middle cylinder 21 and the outer cylinder 23 and air is jetted from the air nozzle 25 and water between the middle cylinder 21 and the outer cylinder 23 is stirred. In this stirring state, a raw material diluted into a fixed concentration is thrown from the raw material feed opening 24 into the stirring tank and papermaking is carried out.
