PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the usability of an image forming device from decreasing by making it possible to output a high-voltage power source output of desired voltage level as early as possible, preventing a formed image from becoming worse in picture quality, and not extending the time until when image forming operation can be started unnecessarily. SOLUTION: After a power supply means starts supplying electric power, a main control part 10 controls the high-voltage output of a high-voltage power output generating circuit 24 into a stop state and holds the stop state until the detection result of the low-voltage output of a low-voltage power supply output generating circuit 23 transmitted from a power source control part 25 indicates a normal output, and starts the high-voltage power supply output when the detection result transmitted from the power source control part 25 shows the normal output. |
