PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that the form carrying speed of a fixing device varies since a fixing roller is easy to vary in roller diameter owing to secular changes because of the property of its material and then varies gradually in form carrying speed as it is used. SOLUTION: A counter 52 counts the total rotational frequency of a driving source M and therefore a top-side fixing roller 4. Its count value represents how many times the top-side fixing roller 4 has rotated so far and substantially shows the operation time and print quantity, so a controller 50 always or periodically monitors the count value of the counter 53 to vary the rotational frequency of the driving source M at intervals of a certain count. |
