PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat developable photosensitive material excellent in the stability of a silver image after heat development while having high sensitivity and high covering power and to provide an image recording method and an image forming method. SOLUTION: In the objective photosensitive emulsion containing organic silver salt grains, photosensitive sliver halide grains and an organic solvent, the average thickness of the organic silver salt grains is 0.005-0.05μm and the average grain diameter is 0.05-0.5μm.
