PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To remove the problem such that air volume which passes through a heat exchanger is reduced when an outdoor unit or the like receives a strong adverse wind and that, accordingly, a heat exchanging performance is lowered, and the problem that reliability is affected when a compressor is stopped with the working of a protection circuit. SOLUTION: Adverse wind R is detected on the basis of the deviations between the detected number of revolution and the target number of revolution of motors 11, 12, respectively, for driving blowers 7, 8. In a strong adverse wind, operation is switched to an adverse wind mode to stop the driving of the blowers 7, 8 and leave them as they are co-rotated by the adverse wind R. Thus, an airflow R1 caused by the adverse wind R flows through an air course 3 to maintain the air volume that passes through a heat exchanger 6 and a radiating fin 9. |
