PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a planographic printing plate having good residual color and residual film performances and good printing and contamination resistances and capable of suppressing the generation of scum and sludge in a developing solution during development. SOLUTION: In the method for producing a planographic printing plate, a planographic printing plate obtained by disposing a photosensitive layer or a heat sensitive layer on an aluminum substrate treated with an aqueous solution containing nitrous acid or a nitrite after anodic oxidation is developed with a developing solution not containing a silicate. |
