PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power steering device capable of effectively restraining generation of a shimmy phenomenon and excess vibration of a steering wheel caused by vibration of a control valve with a simple structure. SOLUTION: A shock absorbing chamber A is provided in such a manner to face to an oil chamber 23 of a hydraulic cylinder 20. A check valve 40 is disposed between the shock absorbing chamber A and the oil chamber 23. When hydraulic vibration is generated in the oil chamber 23 caused by the excess vibration of the steering wheel and/or the vibration of the hydraulic control valve, the check valve 40 is opened and closed repeatedly to reduce the hydraulic vibration.
