PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a current detecting device to enable proper detection of an ion current through simple constitution. SOLUTION: The current detecting device comprises an electromagnetic coil to detect a change of a magnetic flux; and a capacitor to store a power when a power is fed to the ignition plug of an internal combustion engine by a power generating means to generate a power according to a change of a magnetic flux. A detouring circuit is provided to effect a detour such that no current flows to an electromagnetic coil when a current flowing out from the capacitor after completion of power supply.
