摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a position management method for a power roller capable of easily obtaining the relationship of the estimated center of tilting and a rolling contact part of the power roller to a disc at that time after the power roller is assembled to a designated disc of a troidal type continuously variable transmission with small error and managing the same. SOLUTION: The troidal surface 2 of the power roller 1 is measured, and intersecting points made in drawing a circular arc with an already fixed radius on a sectional plane are obtained from an arbitrary first measuring point R1 to Rn of the troidal surface 2 on one side on the section passing the rotating axis Q of the power roller 1 and an arbitrary second measuring point L1 to Ln of the opposite troidal surface 2 separate from the rotating axis Q. Among the intersecting points, the intersecting point closest to the reference surface 8 of the power roller 1 is obtained, the intersecting point is taken as center of tilting of the power roller to the imaginary curved surface, and two measuring points for leading out the intersecting points are taken as contact between the troidal surface 2 of the power roller 1 and the imaginary curved surface to manage the position of the power roller.
