PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably fix toner to a recording medium by suppressing the deviation of a belt wound around a pressure roller when the toner is fixed to the recording medium by pressing the belt against the recording medium supplied with the toner while moving the belt by the pressure roller. SOLUTION: The endless belt 20 is extended between the pressure roller 10 having its roller part 11 made of an elastic material and at least another roller 31 or 32, and this belt is moved as the pressure roller rotates and also pressed against the recording medium 34 supplied with the toner which is fixed to the recording medium. The pressure roller has circumferentially cut grooves 12 on its outer peripheral surface at both the end parts of the roller part installed with necessary intervals along its axis.
