PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a resin additive comprising camphor, azulene, coumarin, limonene and a derivative thereof and a mixture thereof for more surely carrying out joining, welding and fusion of a resin, e.g. polyethylene, polybutene or polypropylene and to provide a fused resin joint impregnated or coated with the resin additive. SOLUTION: This resin additive is characterized as comprising the camphor, azulene, coumarin, limonene and a derivative thereof and a mixture thereof. The fused resin joint is impregnated or coated with the resin additive.
