PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that the service life of the dielectric layer of a layered porcelaneous capacitor becomes shorter and the reliability of the capacitor is deteriorated since the voltage applied to a green sheet per unit thickness is increased when the green sheet is made thin in order to make the capacitor small in size and large in capacitance. SOLUTION: A sintered compact contains the multiple oxide of Ba and Ti of 100 mol% in terms of BaTiO3, the oxide of Re (Re is one or more elements selected from Sm, Eu, Gd, Th, Dy, Ho, Er, Tm, Yb and Y) of 0.25-1.5 mol% in terms of Re2O3, the oxide of Mg of 0.2-1.5 mol% in terms of MgO, the oxides of one or more elements selected from Mn, V and Cr of 0.03-0.6 mol% in terms of M2O3, V2O5 and Cr2O3, the oxides of Mo and/or W of 0.025-0.25 mol% in terms of MoO3, and/or WO3 and furthermore SiO2 or a SiO2-containing glass component of the prescribed ratio. The sintered compact is used as the material of the dielectric layer of this porcelaneous capacitor. |
