PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an epoxy resin composition having a high glass transition temperature, and further good electrical characteristics and mechanical strength. SOLUTION: This epoxy resin composition is obtained by using as a curing agent a condensate of a polyhydric alcohol of >=3 values exemplified by formula (1) [wherein R1, R2, R3, R4, R5 and R6 are each H, CH3CO or a substituent group represented by formula (2), (wherein (m) is an integer of 0-2), (n) is an integer of 0-5, provided that at least two of the R1, R2, R3, R4, R5 and R6 must be the substituent groups represented by formula (2)] and a hydroxybenzoic acid. |
