PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a film for diffusion reflector having regular recesses and projections which do not generate a moire even when the film is used for a liquid crystal display panel, and to provide a diffusion reflector, liquid crystal display panel and a method for manufacturing the film for diffusion reflector. SOLUTION: A casting mold is prepared by grinding to arrange pyramid-like recesses having the size S of the diagonal line of each pyramid bottom with the pitch A of the peaks. Then, the mold is further ground to form pyramid-like recesses shifted by A/(2n+1) in the direction making 45 deg. angle to the continuing direction of ridges. Further the mold is ground by shifting by A/(2n+1) in each time to repeat the grinding process for total (2n+1) times. Then, the casting mold is transferred to a photosetting acrylic resin to manufacture the film for diffusion reflector. Then, an aluminum film is formed as a reflection film on the film for the diffusion reflector to obtain the diffusion reflector. |
