摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing glass having dispersion of metal copper fine particles in the processes of fusing, quenching and heat treatment. SOLUTION: The composition for the glass having dispersion of copper fine particles has the chemical composition expressed by (100-a) RO.aP2O5.bCi2 O.cCuO.dSnO.eM2O3, wherein a to e satisfy 30<=a<=70, 1<=b<=20, 0<=c<=20, 1<=d<=20, 0.5<=e<=20, by the molar ratio as the unit, R is at least one kind selected from bivalent metals of Mg, Ca, Sr, Ba and Zn, and M is at least one kind selected from the group of elements showing III-IV or III-V 3oxidation- reduction. For example, the composition is 50BaO.50P2O5.6Cu2O.6SnO.eSb2O3 (0.5<=e<=2). The method for manufacturing the glass includes process of fusing the above composition in air, rapidly cooling the fused material to vitrify, and heating and maintaining the glass at a temperature lower than the glass transition temperature in air to precipitate metal copper fine particles.</p>
