<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure the load capacity and the service life by securely imparting the initial preload to a bearing even if an inner and an outer ring raceway surfaces are worn in a bearing device. SOLUTION: An outer end surface 15a of an inner ring 15 of a bearing 12 is pushed in one way of the axial direction at a shaft end 14a of a shaft part 14 of a hub wheel 11 so as to impart a preload to the bearing. An axial clearance 31 is provided in a depth in the pushing direction of the inner ring 15, and the inner ring is elastically energized in one way of the axial direction by a metal ring 30 interposed between the shaft end and the outer end surface of the inner ring so as to appropriately maintain the preload imparted to the bearing even if the inner and the outer ring raceway surfaces are worn.</p> |
