<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrostatic charge image developing toner excellent in fixing property, light transmitting property and sharpness. SOLUTION: The electrostatic charge image developing toner containing a binder resin, coloring agent and charge controlling agent as the main component has the following features. (i) The binder resin is nitrile resin which is obtained by copolymerization of a monomer mixture containing unsaturated nitrile and alkyl (meth)acrylate in the presence of a rubber polymer and which contains 1 to 30 wt.% of the rubber polymer to 100 wt.% of the monomer mixture. (ii) The matrix component of the nitrile resin contains 45 to 80 wt.% of unsaturated nitrile units and 20 to 55 wt.% of alkyl (meth)acrylate units and the weight average mol.wt. of the matrix component ranges from 10,000 to 200,000.</p> |
