PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a self-lubricating type bearing device efficiently feeding lubricating oil to a thrust bearing and a journal bearing in the whole rotation speeds of a rotary main shaft. SOLUTION: This self-lubricating type bearing device 100 supporting the rotary main shaft 112 of a horizontal shaft rotary machine is provided with the thrust bearing 120 being so disposed as to support a large diameter part 114 being formed in the rotary main shaft 112 in the thrust direction; the journal bearing 140 being disposed in the outer circumferential part of the rotary main shaft 112 separated from the thrust bearing 120 in the axial direction; a thrust bearing oil tank 130 having the large diameter part 114 and a part of the thrust bearing put therein and being dipped in the lubricating oil; a journal bearing oil tank 150 being disposed under the journal bearing and communicated with the thrust bearing oil tank; a circulator 160 being disposed in the large diameter part and feeding the lubricating oil to the thrust bearing; a feed pipe 170 feeding the lubricating oil from the circulator 160 to the journal bearing; and an oil ring 142 feeding the lubricating oil to the journal bearing.
