PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To call a sufficient attention for a starting operator not to touch a hot muffler cover with a hand of the operator in recoil start, and to evade size-up and cost-up of the muffler cover. SOLUTION: A starter case is provided in a front face of a crank case via a fan cover, and a start handle for a coil starter is provided in the starter case to allow the starting operation. A fuel tank and an exhaust muffler 7 are juxtaposed in an upper side of the crank case, and a muffler 7 is arranged along an extending direction for the starting operation of the start handle. A notice displaying area 13 having a hand-touch prevention display K is integrally formed in a starting operation side of an upper face of the muffler cover 12 for covering a muffler body 10, and a steel wire 14 for the notice display is arranged along the display area 13.
