PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the fixing device of an electrophotographic printer which can prevent deformation of a printing form stopping between a heat roller and a form feed roller and deterioration in the print quality of both-surface printing, secure the surface temperature and fixation strength of the heat roller, and control the heat roller to temperature where the heat roll is not damaged. SOLUTION: A fan (17) is provided behind the heat roller (9) and a pressure roller (10), and a fan control part (22) performs control so that the fan is stopped in a start-up period in which a heating lamp control part (20) stores a reference output value for on/off control over a heating lamp (15) and rotated in other periods.
