PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical spatial transmitting device having a light receiving part for condensing infrared light on a photodetector and constituted so that the observation of visible light with the naked eye can be performed by using the light receiving part and capable of compensating axial chromatic aberration caused at the time of observation with inexpensive constitution. SOLUTION: This optical spatial transmitting device is constituted to perform communication by making the photodetector receive the infrared light condensed by a light receiving lens system and perform the observation with the naked eye by using the light receiving lens system by detaching the photodetector and inserting an eyepiece. Furthermore, the device is provided with an attachable/detachable chromatic aberration compensating means inserted only at the time of observation.
