PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a granular phenolic resin molding material having excellent impact resistance, tracking resistance and abrasion resistance and producible at a low cost. SOLUTION: The phenolic resin molding material is composed of 30-60 wt.% (based on the whole molding material) resol phenolic resin, 5-15 wt.% crushed woven cotton cloth, 3-15 wt.% powdery inorganic filler and 2-6 wt.% vinyl acetate resin.
