METHOD FOR REGULATING DENSITY OF IMAGE PROCESSOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for regulating the density of an image processor in which the density of an output image is regulated conveniently with high accuracy. SOLUTION: A printer section 2 has density test pattern data 241. A scanner section 1 has a gamma table 142 describing output density data corresponding to input density data at the scanner section 1. The printer section 2 prints out a density test pattern 41 based on the density test pattern data 241. The scanner section 1 reads out the printed density test pattern 41, measures the density thereof based on the read out results and then corrects the gamma table 142 based on the measurement results of density.
