PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic sensor allowing excellent detection of a surface magnetic leakage flux due to a flaw in a steel plate and the like by means of a magnetic impedance element. SOLUTION: Opposed electrodes 12 are arranged on one face of a base board 11, while the magnetic impedance element A outputting a variable wave varied by an external magnetic field is arranged between the opposed film electrodes, and a spacer 13, whose height H from the base board one face is 100μm or less, 500μm or less desirably, and higher than a height h from the base board one face of the magnetic impedance element A, is arranged on the base board one face.
