PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a propylene/α-olefin random copolymer excellent in low- temperature heat sealability, blocking properties, stiffness, and clarity. SOLUTION: This propylene/α-olefin random copolymer has (a) a specified melt flow rate, (b) a specified melting point, (c) a specified relation between the fusion ending temperature and the melting point, (d) a specified Q value, and (e) a specified relation between the density and the melting point and is obtained by copolymerization using a specific catalyst.
