PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermosetting resin molding material in which occurrence of a fine powder is low. SOLUTION: A method for manufacturing the thermosetting resin molding material comprises the steps of rolling the molding material of a molten state in a predetermined thickness, then processing the material in a wheat four state of a predetermined width or processing the material in a sheet-like state having cutouts of a predetermined interval, thereafter cutting the molding material processed in the wheat flour state of the sheet-like state in a specific length, or forming a cutout in a lateral direction in a method for granulating the thermosetting resin molding material.
