PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide talc coating equipment capable of preventing the coating ununiformity of talc, controlling the coating quantity of the talc and preventing also the scattering of the talc. SOLUTION: The talc coating device is provided with a talc coating box for applying the talc on a cable 2 by passing the cable 2 continuously, a circulation line 6 having a blower for evacuating the inside of the talc coating box 4 to recover the excess talc 3 and supplying the talc to the talc coating box 4 to circulate, a talc supply means connected to a talc recovering side circulation line 7 of the suction side of the blower 5, a separation means 10 connected to the discharge side of the blower 5 and for separating the talc 3 from the circulating air flow and making the air flow to flow in a talc supply side circulation line 9 and a measuring means 11 for measuring the talc separated in the separation means 10 and supplying the talc 3 to the talc supply side circulation line 9.
