PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the washing force, and prevent contamination or residues from adhering and remaining. SOLUTION: This dishwasher is equipped with a supercooling means 14 which cools washing water to a supercooled state, and forms sherbet-like ice having fluidity and washes tableware by jetting the sherbet-like ice to the tableware. Thus, washing to the detailed sections of the tableware becomes possible. That is, the inertia force of the washing water when being jetted to the tableware, and the frictional force between the surface of the tableware and the ice are drastically increased compared to a conventional method, and the washing force for the tableware 3 is greatly increased.
