PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endoscope, which allows a high pressure steam steriliazation and is easy to make correction, repairs and the like on it after adhesion with an adhesive and produced with workability in wind. SOLUTION: The outer layer 28 is made of a resin with the heat resistant temperature of about 160 deg.C and a resin coat layer 29 employs a resin with the heat resistant temperature of about 200 deg.C. The end parts of the outer circumferential surface of a skin tube 26 are both tied with a wound string 31 for fixation and securely pressed. On the tip side, an adhesive 62a is applied between the internal surface of the skin tube 26 and the outer circumferential surface of the tip part body 21 to fix and on the base end side, an adhesive 62b is applied between the internal surface of the skin tube 26 and the outer circumferential surface of a tip side cap 24 to fix. The adhesive 62a is applied on the side of the external surface of the string 31 for fixation to make an adhesion part. This allows the covering of the string 31 for fixation for protection and watertight sealing of a boundary part between an insulation cover member 22 and the skin tube 15.
