PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an ink jet recorder having an easy supply of a recording medium even in the ink jet recorder of a large size corresponding to the medium of a large size. SOLUTION: A first containing tray 12 is drawable in a direction perpendicular to a feeding direction (a direction of an arrow S) of a sheet 16. A sheet 16 is newly inserted into the tray 12 in a drawn state, and can be supplied.
