PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coated metal plate which does not use another material such as a rivet and an adhesive, does not generate strain, etc., in a product, and can be joined easily, promptly, and surely and a separation method which is capable of easy separation and dismantling and has a recycling property. SOLUTION: In the metal plate coated with a thermoplastic resin, a coating film containing the thermoplastic resin is formed at least on one side of the metal plate and which is easy of junction and separation between the coating films or the coating film and a different material and excellent in the recycling property. The coating films of the metal plates or the coating film and the different material are laid to overlap each other and fusion-bonded to be joined together. A metal plated-joined object is heated at a temperature of the melting point of the thermoplastic resin or above to be separated easily.
