PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sewing device for easily taking out a cloth after sewing is completed, a sewing device for easily taking out an embroidery frame and a cloth after sewing with a safety cover attached and a recording medium for storing a cloth movement control program to move the embroidery frame in order to easily take out the cloth after sewing. SOLUTION: The device is provided with a locking arm 40 where a needle 81 for sewing the cloth is attached and by which the needle 81 is driven, an embroidery frame driving mechanism 11 for moving the cloth in a horizontal direction under the locking arm 40 and a controller for controlling the mechanism 11 to position the cloth at a prescribed take-out place after sewing is completed.
