<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game system and an information storage medium capable of freely enlarging or reducing an image displayed on a screen corresponding to the operation data of an operation means by a player and the indicating position of a position indicator capable of indicating an optional position inside the screen of a display device. SOLUTION: A gun type controller 10 capable of indicating the optional position inside the screen at a position away from the screen of a display part 190 is provided with an operation data input part 21 composed of cross direction keys. For zoom control requiring degree adjustment, the image near the indicating position is arbitrarily zoom-controlled corresponding to the operation data by the respective direction keys (an upper direction key and a lower direction key, for instance) of the cross direction keys. Further, the other command selection is allocated to the other direction keys of the cross direction keys. Thus, the game of more complicated contents is provided and the operability of the player is improved.</p> |
