The sliding closure operates on fluid or air with a central closure panel connection and fixation. It comprises a horizontal sleeve (7) varying in diameter and on it is fitted a vertical pipe column (1) provided with a lever mechanism (2), a central panel connection (5) with a safety plate (4), a rubber closure strip (6) and a sealing panel (3). The sealing panel in its center has a groove or recess in which the central panel fits. This enables the sealing panel to be slid.
