PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a biological member which is extremely fast in cell infiltration and with which excellent restorative force may be expected after surgery. SOLUTION: The porosity of a porous body of a calcium phosphate-based sintered compact having many approximately spherical pores 1 is >=55 to <=85% and the average pore diameter thereof is >=50 to <=800 μm. The porous body described above is so formed that the pores 11 sized greater than the average pore diameter have open cells 2 of >=5 μm in diameter at >=3 points in average per pierce and among >=3 points of the open cells 2, the open cells 2 of >=25 μm in diameter are formed at >=1 points in average and that the total area of the openings of the open cells 2 possessed by the pores 11 sized greater than the average pore diameter occupies the ratio below 50% of the pore surface area and the wetting of the entire part by dripping of water and blood in a dry state is made possible. |
