PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine capable of executing suitable payoff control responding to the shortage of game balls. SOLUTION: This game machine is provided with a prize ball payoff device for paying off game balls, plural payoff ball passages for supplying the game balls to a prize ball payoff device, and a ball out switch capable of detecting the shortage of game balls in each of plural payoff ball passages. A payoff control CPU for controlling the prize ball payoff device starts the prize ball payoff control for 25 balls if the number of prize balls stored in a total number storage is 25 or larger when the shortage of game balls is detected in some payoff ball passage at the start of paying off the game balls, and starts the prize ball payoff control for the number corresponding to the total number if the number of prize balls stored in the total number storage is under the present number.
