PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical mirror capable of indicating sufficient defogging properties to visually recognize an affected part by enduring against a plurality of uses and a method for defogging the mirror. SOLUTION: The medical mirror comprises a hydrophilic film formed on a surface of the mirror so that a surface of the film has a fine composite rugged structure of a nano order.
