PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mounting structure of a bench board in a bathroom which eliminates the possibility of sliding of the bench board in a horizontal or overturn thereof even if an aged or sick person taking a bath with the aid of a nursing person or by himself or herself sits on the bench board placed on a bathtub and changes a direction, substantially eliminates the need for clearing when not using the bench board, and allows the effective utilization of the space within the bathroom. SOLUTION: A base end 7a of the bench board 7 for allowing the person taking a bath to once sit on the top end 4 of the bathtub 2 in taking the bath is connected to a wall 1 of the bathtub by a connecting means 6 and the top end 7b is extended inwardly near on the top end 4 of the bathtub 2. If a turning connector like a hinge is used as the connecting means 6 in this case, the bench board 7 may be held nearly horizontal in use and may be put nearly perpendicular and leaned to the wall 1 when not in use and therefore the need for clearing of the bench board 7 is eliminated and the effective utilization of the space in the bathroom is made possible. |
