摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vitrified bond super-abrasive grinding wheel and its manufacturing method securing sufficient bond strength even at the baking temperature of 650 deg.C or less and exhibiting high abrasive grain holding power with a small quantity of bond. SOLUTION: Super-abrasive grains formed of diamond or CBN are bonded by vitrified bond formed of boro-silicate frit containing one or both of Li2O and ZnO. In the case of using diamond abrasive grains, the baking temperature can be lowered, so that there is no degradation of the abrasive grains. In the case of using CBN abrasive grains, a bond quantity can be reduced, so that porosity can be increased.
