PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a user to easily and safely carry out the work to insert and remove a stopper into and from a drain hole in the bottom of a bathtub. SOLUTION: The front end of a rod-like body 4 is provided with a crooked hook 6 for freely attachably and detachably hooking a ring 5 at the top end of the stopper 3 of the bathtub 1 such that the user can carry out the work by hooking the crooked hook 6 at the front end of the rod-like body 4 to the ring 5 at the top end of the stopper 3 without largely bending down a waist on the outer side of the bathtub l when inserting or removing the stopper 3 into or from the drain hole 2 at the bottom of the bathtub 1.
