PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for holding a blow molded article capable of performing the opening and closing of a molded article holder in the same direction as the on-off direction of a mold and the up and down movement thereof with respect to an air blow nozzle corresponding to the shape and dimension of the blow molded article by a drive means when the shape and dimension of the blow molded article is altered, in the molding of the blow molded article. SOLUTION: The apparatus for holding the blow molded article is constituted of a mold 2 for grasping a parison a and the molded article holder 5 openable and closable in the same direction as the on-off direction of the mold 2 and movable in an up and down direction with respect to at least the air blow nozzle 4 and equipped with a drive mechanism for opening and closing and moving the holder. |
