PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely deliver even a thin film, a polypropylene film or the like in particular, from a final calender roll to a take-off roll and thereby to produce a smooth sheet with high efficiency. SOLUTION: A take-off device of a calendering machine is equipped with the take-off roll 17 for peeling the film 10 from the final calender roll 5 of the machine 1 and leading it to a winding device. The take-off roll 17 is constituted of a porous roll 18 having a suction box 20 provided inside and connected to a sucking device 22, and a spray 23 for cooling the surface of the film 10 located on the side coming into contact with the take-off roll 17 is provided between the final calender roll 5 and the take-off roll 17.
