PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine and a variable display method for improving interest in a game by enhancing a display effect in a variable display and a program recording medium for performing such a variable display. SOLUTION: A line object 01 having the prescribed thickness is moved to the periphery of a three-dimensionally displayed pattern 02(a) on a special pattern display device 6 in a special pattern game while hiding a part of the displaying pattern 02(a), and is renewed to a new pattern 02(b). When renewing the pattern 02(b) to the final supporting pattern 02(c), the line object 01 makes a longitudinal movement such as returning in the inverse direction of the renewing direction in the middle of a renewal. |
