PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small-sized apparatus for volatilizing a chemical of the type to volatilize the chemical by rotating a chemical impregnated material using a driving means, good in portability and excellent in all aspects of stabilized volatilizing performances, insecticidal effects, safety, usability, or the like. SOLUTION: This apparatus for volatilizing the chemical is obtained by mounting and fixing the sheetlike or the matlike chemical impregnated material on the outside or inside of an outer peripheral bleeding part of a Silocco fan so as to volatilize the chemical into the air by rotation of the Silocco fan.
