PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable body fat measuring instrument having a system low in contact resistance and measuring human body impedance by applying the palm side of the thumb having a wide contact area to an electrode. SOLUTION: A human body impedance measuring circuit 2 is built in the body fat measuring instrument and a display part D of LCD is provided to the front of the instrument, and a power supply/selection key K1, a figure down key K2, a figure up key K3, a decision key K4 and a start/completion key K5 are arranged under the display part to constitute a panel surface P. Electrode attaching surfaces (b) are provided to both left and right sides of the instrument through stepped parts (a) and other detection side electrodes E2, E2 constituting four terminal electrodes electrically insulated to each other are attached to the electrode attaching surfaces (b) in an up and down arranged state. |
