PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging device having a printing mode capable of executing a plurality of resolutions without increasing the kinds of a carriage moving speed. SOLUTION: A driving waveform 10 has the maximum driving frequency for stable jetting of 7,500 (Hz), and the jetting ink droplet volume of 60 pl. A driving waveform 20 has the maximum driving frequency for stable jetting of 15,000 (Hz), and the jetting ink droplet volume of 15 pi. By using the driving waveform 10 in a 300 dpi mode, and the driving waveform 20 in a 600 dpi mode, the carriage moving speed at the time of imaging is 7,500/300=25.0 (IPS) in the 300 dpi mode, and it is 15,000/600=25.0 (IPS) in the 600 dpi mode so that the carriage speed can be same. |
