PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely obtain a formed body of sufficient strength and to easily/ surely conduct partial strengthening when obtaining a metal formed body by applying hydroforming. SOLUTION: A method is provided with a process to perform a metal stock of a closed face shape so as to form a preformed body relatively approximating to a final shape of the formed body, a process to arrange the performed body into a prescribed forming die, a process to form the metal formed body along a die shape of the forming die by supplying a pressurized fluid into a closed face space of the performed body and a process to harden the metal formed body by a heat treatment, further, a specified section only of the metal formed body is hardened by a heat treatment.
