PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reaping section of a combine harvester, which enables the realization of grain straw-reaping works at places close to ridges, the simplification of a grass divider-transferring mechanism, the improvement in the easiness of works and operations, and the reduction of cost. SOLUTION: This reaping section of the combine harvester, having a plurality of grass dividers laterally disposed in parallel at the most front positions and raising devices 12 disposed behind the grass dividers 11 is characterized in that the grass dividers 11 each is formed in such a state as to be freely moved on a longitudinal shaft 34 for the turning between a grass-dividing action position where the tip portion 22 and the grass-dividing side 23 of the grass divider are placed at the lower position and the upper position, respectively, and a turned position where the grass-dividing side 23 and the tip end portion 22 are placed at the lower position and the upper position in prescribed heights, respectively.
